We have an urgent openings for Access Management IAM - Cochin Location.
Experience :- 5 to 11yrs
Work Location:- Cochin
We have 2 shift (1 Shift - Resource will need to work Thursday to Monday (Fixed Off - Tuesday and Wednesday) and will also need to work either US or EMEA hours and Another Shift - Normal Shift ).
And also we have normal shifts for some other requirements.
Job Summary:
The Directory Engineer for the Implementation & Configuration Services team in IAMS supports the production implementation and operational readiness activities to ascertain that new technologies being transitioned into production within the Information Security infrastructure meet Information Technology (IT) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) operational requirements, standards and quality controls and that they can be seamlessly deployed with no impact to production or critical service deliverables. The role performs initial production readiness and appropriate user testing activities including identification and resolution of noted errors or deficiencies prior to implementation or go live production. The role partners with peers within Implementation & Access Management Services (IAMS) including Directory Enablement and Escalation teams and other areas of GIS and IT and IAM to assist in the development of testing plans and implementation schedules and supports the completion of formal project implementation plans and change readiness directives such as knowledge capture and formal training to maintain production environment stability. The role additionally provides the development of formal contingency plans and procedures to be used in the event new code needs to be rolled back from production. The role performs monitoring of the health of any new or remediated initiative for IAM thru the review of appropriate performance management information systems (MIS) metrics and analytics to assess project implementation success as well as for Business As Usual (BAU) operational support. The role performs project implementation activities using aligned industry frameworks and standards includingInformation Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework which details the IT industrys mandated standards and procedures to determine improvement recommendations such as for IT operations and delivery. The role properly provides appropriate activities of Industry or vendor recognized frameworks and tools to perform assigned directives aligned to the IAM technologies under management including but not limited to Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Supports the implementation, configuration and operational readiness activities aligned to IAM technologies to ascertain that those directives being transitioned into production meet IT and IAM operational requirements, standards and quality controls and that they can be seamlessly deployed with no impact to production or critical service deliverables.
Performs implementation planning and change readiness activities such as new release testing and deployment, as well as support for any escalated incident management engineering and remediation at a level 3 (L3) tier of servicing to support operational readiness of IAM directed initiatives.
o Performs the successful migration of changes to User Acceptance testing environment adhering to aligned IAMS and IT change management directives and mandates.
o Performs early identification and tracking of testing defects thru patch release during user acceptance testing to enable full end-to-end production readiness testing in User Acceptance testing region prior to full go live in production to maintain production stability and a secure identity and access environment for IAM.
Partners with peers and others in IAM and IAMS teams in the development of project testing and implementation project plans to assure successful technology rollouts.
o Provides for the completion of formal change readiness activities such as knowledge transfer and formal training, the identification of potential operational issues and preventative measures to avoid any negative impacts to the production environment. Supports the aligned team in the development of formal contingency plans and procedures to be used in the event new code needs to be rolled back from production.
o Maintains adherence to both IAMS and Security change readiness directives thru the coordination of formal change requests to both the IAMS Change Management Review Committee and GHS Change Approval Board (CAB) for formal management review and approval prior to moving changes into either the UA or production environments.
o Performs the formal review of appropriate performance management information systems (MIS) metrics and analytics for Implementation & Configuration such as Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Operational Level Agreements (OLA) for responses to incidents escalated to the team from GSD and others for P1/S1s as well as for project implementation monitoring including capture of benefits associated with the change.
o Supports efforts to remedy IAMS exception captured on Global Vulnerability Reporting (GVR) and tracks necessary changes to successful completion to comply with audit requirements.
o Provides the appropriate IAMs Business As Usual (BAU) support including performance and capacity metrics monitoring to identify improvement opportunities and maintain operational readiness.
Performs proper execution of project implementation activities in IAMS based on Project Management Institute (PMI) project management competencies as determined and required as well as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework which details the IT industrys mandated competencies, standards and procedures to recommend improvements for IT technical operations, process engineering and management.
Provides the proper use of quantified metrics targets to monitor Microsoft technologies performance and stability within infrastructure and utilizes same to identify opportunities for improvements such as further remediation, automation of processes and for capacity planning.
Performs implementation planning, execution, monitoring and post-implementation review activities to capture lessons learned" with a forward view of improving best practices for IAM services.
o Recognizes, as appropriate, the use of industry standards such as PMI and ITIL and in the frameworks best practices that have been selected. Uses advanced knowledge and skills to guide discussions and embed the adoption and adherence of the best industry standards by the team and their efforts.
o Maintains a proactive approach to learning about the current aligned technologies and engineering therein including but not limited to Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS)
o Partners on aspects of IT Implementation with peers and business colleagues across a diverse culture and multiple time zones.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
The role requires solid analytical skills to understand the relevance of processing metrics such as Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Operational Level Agreements (OLA) to analyze success and effectiveness of complex IT process implementations as well as to review processes against PMI, ITIL or internal processing standards to provide appropriate reporting and other actions to review or effect change. The role needs to drive the priority and time management of their own efforts to support and deliver upon assigned activities and communicate results and findings to end users and management as necessary.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Building and configurations of Domain Controllers.
Clear understanding of Active Directory Sites and Services.
Work with Forests and Domains; Restructuring a Forest and Renaming Domains.
Creates Group Policy infrastructure based on the policies and guidelines provided.
Work with Group Policies at server and workstation level.
Assist with implementing solutions for hardware and software. Implement common preventive maintenance practices for hardware and software
Work with a highly secure environment using RSAT tools.
Assist in management and support of internal and external DNS systems. Assist in management and support of internal DHCP architecture and scoping.
Work with Global Catalog Servers, Schema management and IPSEC policies.
Set up backup and recovery practices and procedures which will be executed by network and production coordinators.
Knowledge in AD architecture and infrastructure (LDAP, Directory Replication, group policy, security, schema changes, etc.)
Knowledge of DNS, Kerberos and Windows Authentication, to include authentication with other technologies for Single Sign-On.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Active Directory 2008 and 2016 Core.
Strong background in PowerShell and scripting.
Maintains strong interpersonal skills to engage with peers and others in the firm in cross business discussions within a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization and to build a solid network of peers and others of influence. Adapts personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or escalating issues using strong oral and written English communication skills.
Projects strong consultative skill to conduct effective questioning, hone in on key directives to formulate ideas and materials as well as present those ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of management within Implementation & Configuration Services and Identity & Access Management Services (IAMS) and others within the broader organization.
Maintains knowledge of services and applications with the assigned IAM processes and operating environment to recognize improvement opportunities and next generation solutions achievable through engineering.
Maintains a strong analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and escalate complex and conflicting IAMS or GIS engineering issues, adapt to multiple and shifting implementation priorities across a broad spectrum of operating environments and provide solutions that are both financially sound and operationally feasible.
Possesses a working knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to recognize appropriate reporting features and functions in various IT Service processes. Looks to progress levels of certification as required or to suggest alternatives to standards as appropriate.
Possesses a knowledge of collaboration tools designed for sharing knowledge and information such as Service Management Knowledge System, SharePoint and Yammer.
Maintains implementation and configuration projects by operating within best practices or delegating work effectively utilizing the proper people, time and project management disciplines across a diverse culture and multiple time zones.
Maintains ongoing knowledge of aligned applications such as Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS)
Supervision Responsibilities:
The role is an individual contributor managed day to day by the Directory Team Lead for Implementation & Configuration Services within Identity & Access Management Services (IAMS).
Other Requirements:
The role may also require the periodic allocation of additional time on the job to support multiple demands and escalating issues.

Education:
College degree technology based or statistical/math sciences or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
Experience:
Approximately 5 to 7 years experience with Active Directory technology infrastructure and technology engineering groups. Strong understand of Windows and Active Directory 2008 and 2016 Core. Advanced PowerShell Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex analytics during the period inclusive of project management skills and implementation techniques and planning.
