Job Description
- Summary of the Role : 10 + Years experience in supplier quality domain, better understanding of Process Quality Management, Supplier Audit, Supplier score card, Managing back to back warranty of parts with supplier, Customer Rejection Analysis and Team Management
Ability of Problem solving, decision making, negotiation and communication Multitasking with excellent planning, execution, monitoring and resource balancing skill, as well as ability to hande multiple tasks in high pressure environment
Details of the Job :
Responsible for overall Supplier Quality activities and planning for engine as well as Genset suppliers, e.g, All engine casting, forging as well as Genset Sheet Metal components like Camshaft, Crankshaft, Block, Oil Pan, structural members, sheet metal parts etc.
Ensure, develop and implement best practices of Supplier Audit
Ensure that Supplier quality scores are maintained and processes are in place to meet organization objectives, targets and operational needs in term of price, Quality and delivery targets
Set departmental objectives and monitor on-going progress and performance in a timely manner
Monitor Product filed complaints analysis and corrective actions, warranty, cost of Quality and in-house rejection and scrap
Prepare and monitor the annual departmental budget
To ensure evaluation of supplier for quality and Quality Management Systems
To evaluate, monitor and improve quality system performance of the suppliers
Responsible for planning and releasing system and process audits
Technical Requirements :
Key Skills for the Role
Knowledge of Six Sigma / Kaizen / TQM preferably Black belt
Well versed in conceptualizing and implementing operational strategies for the quality functions
Desired Skills for the Role
Granting of Q-Gates release for Engine and Genset delivery in Pre-Series and Series as per R-RPS Quality standards
Salary: INR 9,00,000 - 12,00,000 P.A.
