Job description

  • 90% of production time to be spent on delivering daily tasks, and driving improvements
  • 10% time spent on issue resolution and institutionalizing controls, governance frameworks and fixes
  • Ensure seamless client service delivery, including critical expectations like SLA, TAT and Accuracy
  • Business and Client relationship management and enhancement
  • Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality
  • Drive employee measurement factors like KRAs, mentoring and Project SLAs
  • Monitor engagement through E&Rs, Learning opportunities, Aspirations

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of superannuation legislative and operational requirements (RG146) and Strong knowledge of DB.
  • ASFA knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated communication skills including presentation, report writing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a demanding work environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment without supervision.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Excel, workflow tools and administration systems.
  • Knowledge on Quality tools like Six Sigma, Kaizen and Lean are good to have
  • Knowledge of Superannuation and legislations like Protect Your Super and Putting Members Interest First
  • Strong leadership, People management and client management skills
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
  • Strong communication and influencing skills as role has extensive dealings with external clients
  • Team player able to work with and through others
  • Sound judgement and ability to make appropriate and timely decisions
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong SLA management and a good knowledge/experience in Project Management
  • Effective and accurate reporting skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills



  • Minimum 4 years experience overall
  • Minimum 12 months experience as Lead Specialist or Senior Specialist
