    Shell IT Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering World Class digital transformation solutions based on latest technologies, majorly hosted on Cloud platforms, to suit the strategic and cross-functional business needs, across the Enterprise. 

    This position will lead large projects or manage within a programme structure a collection of smaller projects (single business in one or more regions). Goal would be to ensure that the projects deliver the expected business benefits and value whilst adhering to required enterprise level assurance and compliance (legal, regulatory etc.)

    The Projects and Programmes will be conducted in a virtual environment with project resources, stakeholders and involved business partners in different locations and times zones.
    The PM will work with Business and associated Vendors (wherever applicable) to determine the scope of work, requirements, financial budget and effort estimates. 
    S/he would decide on the approach for the delivery of project according to IT roadmaps that are agreed with stakeholders such as portfolio managers and architects, as well as the specific nature of the Project.

    The PM will have following accountabilities:

    Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle. 
    Rigorously manage scope through a structured change management process to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters with focus on delivering the business benefits.
    Create and validate financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.
    Active stakeholder management related to projects, programmes or the related portfolio
    Ensure compliance with internal controls stemming from Shells internal delivery framework but also from Internal Risk Management, Finance and Human Resources.
    Manage resources assigned to projects and actively involve oneself in all activities that aim to improve the line and function
    Ensure successful delivery of business change together with the business partners involved
    Manage IT partners and third-party suppliers ensuring maximum value whilst minimizing investments
    Participate a few times per annum in Project Assurance Reviews.
    Understanding the importance and value of information and data and ensuring that solutions enforce data quality standards, enable efficient and effective data management, and provide quality information to users.
    Work with other businesses in Shell to ensure domain synergy and alignment.
    Establish and maintain appropriate ansd effective Governance structures and procedures to obtain resources, drive decisions, resolve issues, and deliver project objectives
    Staying informed about new developments in the IT Marketplace
