• The Process Excellence Leader (Sr. Manager / AD / AVP) will lead several cross-functional projects within MarketsandMarkets two main business units Research and Sales organization as well as cross-functional improvement projects with stakeholders throughout the organization. This role requires leadership and change management skills, problem solving, technology expertise, and extensive experience in operational excellence and process improvement.
  
  Process Improvement Roadmap & Ongoing Responsibilities 
  
  a. The role will initially be responsible for setting up the foundational layer for the performance measurement system using the current as-is processes used in research and sales by documenting existing process, procedures and derive the performance baseline.
  
  b. After as-is process documentation and baselining is achieved, the Business Process Improvement Manager will identify gaps in as-is process, missing controls, related functionality in business applications used and process adherence root cause due to lack of training, on the job aids or talent issues.
  
  c. The role is responsible to identify best practices across research & sales operations and include them in the standard process design backed up by instructional materials to be used by research and sales members and inputs to learning & development to improve the skills of new talent being inducted in the company.
  
  d. This person will be responsible for building strong relationships with various stakeholders throughout the company and will be charged with helping to develop a culture of continuous improvement (CI) at MarketsandMarkets.
  
  e. Identify, manage, and execute Lean Six Sigma Projects
  
  f. Collect and analyze data and identify solutions based on root cause analysis and create business cases to present to key stakeholders and solutions
  
  g. Create process maps and help standardize process and workflow
  
  h. Create reports and use data to drive decisions
  
  i. Serve as a primary thought leader on CI strategy
  
  j. Support the head of research & sales in preparing for leadership meetings, team huddles, and problem solving on major projects and issues.
  
  k. Interface and collaborate with other areas of the organization, including human resources, learning & development, finance & accounting, sales operations, research PMO & QA, and others.
  Reporting Structure
  
  The role will report directly to Chief People Officer (Capability Development Function, India based) and dotted to the Chief Operating Officer (COO, USA based). The role will be based in Pune, India.

  Requirements 
  - Masters in business administration or equivalent from a top tier reputed institution.
  - 10 (Sr. Manager) 15 (AVP) years continuous improvement experience using most widely accepted methodologies (Expert Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma). Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is a plus.
  - Candidates with market research experience would be preferred. Sales Effectiveness desirable.
  - 3 years project management experience
  - 8 years people management experience
  - Expert Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodology
  - Experience with process mapping and knowledge of process mapping tools required (Visio, etc.)
  - Experience with statistical tools required (Minitab, SPC, Tableau, SQL, Excel, etc)
  - Experience within an environment where heavy use of phone calls is preferred
  - Experience with reporting tools and dashboards a plus.
  - Experience with change management a plus

  
  Technical and Soft Skills 
  • Technical writing and presentation skills Proficient in business report writing. Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint and moderate proficiency in open source analytical and data representation tools.
  • Analytical Thinking Should be able to analyze issues and identify workable options/solutions.
  • Communication and Presentation skills Ability to deliver world class reports and presentations in a comprehensive and impactful format
  • People Connect Excellent relationship management skills and influencing skills
