Job Description:

At least 5+years experience as an Application Packager in a fast paced Project and BAU environment.
Responsible for the packaging using standard application packaging software. These include but are not limited to Flexera Admin Studio, Microsoft App-V, Thin-Install, App Volumes, and RES Software.
Responsible for end to end application deployment and reporting/monitoring using tools like SCCM 2012.
Mobile Device Application Management (MDAM) wrapping, integration and deployment skills.
Providing operating system, application, and hardware testing support. Write and follow test plans. Submit completed test plans. Recommend go/no-go based on test results.
Rich experience with application Scripting (Vb Script , PowerShell), MSI packaging, Citrix & Virtualisation knowledge.
Providing Tier 3 support for application packaging, application operating system (O/S) testing, patch management, Group Policy and troubleshooting O/S application issues.
Be accountable for delivering application packaging, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, and application deployments within the business according to ITIL standards.
Continuously improve application packaging processes and ensuring application packaging is in line with specified standards.
Understanding business requirements by liaising with key stakeholders, partners, business stakeholders and software vendors.
Assist in the formulation of packaging standards and guidelines to support the development of effective infrastructure strategy, processes and procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement within infrastructure operations.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Service requests and Incident management, in accordance with customer SLAs
Develop and deploy package raised by clients
Troubleshoot and resolve built package issues
Ensure all requests are closed off with timely communication to clients with the resolution
Configuration change where required to support applications
Customer-centric prompt and effective action when dealing with client requests, questions and concerns Daily maintenance checks
Ensure high levels of system availability, capacity, reliability, data integrity, security and performance are maintained
Proactively perform required system monitoring, alert/event response
Proactively identify, analyze and resolve problems to optimize systems and minimize risk, document workaround and implement changes as and when required
Provide capacity management plans and recommendations Support work
Liaising with 3rd party vendors as and when required
Timely and accurate documentation of work performed, to the stand required and sing the systems, processes and /or methods specified including system documentation and technical reports
As clients raise new requests for changes or addition of new features to an application, such changes need to be understood, documented and estimated for the project to be scoped appropriately

Candidates Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is must.
Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
Coming from a Strong Troubleshooting background
Initiative and ability to research problems independently, finding root cause
Open to work with shift
