About your team

The key purpose of the Operational Excellence team is to embed new, efficient ways of working and a culture of excellence by upskilling and empowering all colleagues to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and our business. As a new and growing team, we have a strategic vision of delivering a world class operations function.

About your role

The role will involve supporting the ongoing Operational Excellence initiatives across GPIA, through the implementation of Lean / Continuous Improvement techniques and ideologies; along with working with all Operational teams and colleagues to ensure that continuous improvement and operational excellence is a focus at a day-to-day level.

The role is key in acting as a bridge or support for Operational colleagues and managers; helping them to understand how they can improve outcomes for themselves, the business and their customers. The role is just as much about the people as the technical expertise - It is important to be able to work towards changing the culture in Operations by empowering our colleagues to make these positive changes. The role also requires the use of technical expertise in Lean Six Sigma methods to identify and deliver tangible benefits through projects and initiatives.

About you

You will be qualified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt at minimum, with a Black Belt preferred.

You will also have tangible experience in both delivering and leading continuous improvement projects; along with coaching others in their own Lean skills and projects.

You will also be comfortable in engaging leadership with a clear understanding of the essential role they play in Operational Excellence success.

You should be comfortable in working with data, able to produce meaningful and value-add reporting, along with gaining valuable insights.
