Roles and Responsibilities

Essential responsibilities and duties

The role of a Customer Quality Engineer is to guarantee that all actions in the Plant comply with the requirements of the Faurecia Excellence System, and to do so considering customer, Quality, Division, Business Group and Corporate guidelines. The main missions of the role are to:

o Represent customer requirements internally.

o Plant Quality objectives monitoring.

o Manage the Customer Quality system in accordance with the Faurecia Excellence System.

o Interrupt the manufacturing or the delivery of products when Quality is not assured.

o Resolution of Customer concern by 8 D methodology.

 

Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering – Production / Mechanical

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience if diploma holders
  • Minimum 3 years if Bachelor’s degree
  • Automotive Tier 1/2 industry would be an added advantage
  • Exposure in Sheet metal
  • Knowledge of SPC or Quality tools is required
  • Local language
  • Welding Exposure, Working in Sheet Metal Industry, Fabrication Industry should be preferred.
