Job Description



  • Great new role responsible for leading the successful delivery of quality assurance expertise in a client consulting environment. The ideal candidate has expertise in standard QA processes, and ensures activities are managed to deliver consistent, common and accurate QA outcomes to support the client's needs in a timely manner. You will work closely with clients and must demonstrate individual, functional and professional knowledge to ensure work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber.

    Develop project test strategy and test plan 
    Create test cases and supporting test data to ensure data adequately tests all testable situations 
    Perform test designs for assigned elements in the test plan
    Ensure test designs meet quality objectives as set out in the project test plan
    Establish test data repositories for system testing efforts
    Document, review and test governance and audit general application controls if applicable
    May oversee the test design, test case and data creation processes
    Update and maintain regression tests and design new regression tests suites
    Create and maintain performance test runs and data
    Execute project test cases and test plans details 
    Execute regression tests 
    Assume ownership for specific sections of the test execution plans as assigned. 
    Conduct or monitor performance / stress testing and perform other specialized tests.
    May oversee test execution
    Complete reporting of test results
    May oversee defect summary reporting and tracking to resolution for the project
    Coordinate testing activities User Acceptance Test activities and UAT defect resolution in conjunction with the Project Manager/Business Analyst
    Analyze project defect trends and publish report including recommendations for improvement

    Exceptional track record with automated regression test tools and building and maintaining the automated test scripts
    Exceptional track record of writing and maintaining test cases, test plans and test scripts
    Exceptional knowledge of QA process and methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle Experience 
    Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Visio, Word and PowerPoint)
    Strong interpersonal skills; customer-centric attitude; ability to deal with cultural diversity
    Proven team player and team builder
    Strong organizational and analytical skills


    2 -5 years of IT experience in any of the following areas: Development, Support, Testing, Project Management or Maintenance.

    Servicenow testing.

    University degree in a related field - preferred.
    ITIL V2 or V3 Foundations Certification nice to have
    Six Sigma Black Belt - nice to have


Salary: INR 5,00,000 - 8,00,000 PA.
