Production Officer

Job Description

Responsible for the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes

Responsible for the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the companies quality systems, processes and procedures

Problem solving and troubling shooting to ensure identification of root causes and take corrective action at the shop floor

To have an active role in the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company

Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues

Handling mechanical maintenance in order to sustain the production targets

Implementation of 5S and Kaizen activities to increase production and reduce the downtime

Implementation and oversee TPM models

Ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift

Ensuring Health and Safety rules and regulations during the shift and all matters relating to the companys Health and Safety policy

Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace

Use innovative ways to optimize the resources to its full potential
