Position: Delivery Manager
Reports To: Delivery Head/ President & COO
Supervises: A Delivery Manager will lead, manage & execute multiple projects. Responsible for the leadership and management within Technology Development, including mentoring, coaching and leading of teams, particularly technical team leaders and technical specialists.
Function:
Manage end-end projects by demonstrating strong project management, stakeholder management, Account Management & People Management skills. As a Delivery Manager, you will carry P & L responsibility for the Technology division, work closely with stakeholders, clients, and development & QA teams to strategize and execute the project plan ensuring project quality, on-time delivery.
Other responsibilities include Presales support, & prior experience in resource management, resource allocation & resource deployment, must be aware of various staffing models to deploy resources internally & at client side.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Possess a combination of technical and managerial skills with solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Drives programs and projects to completion, influence and drive decisions that impact architecture, roadmap and strategy across teams
Manage customer expectations on deliverables by regularly communicating with Client / Analysts / Developers / Testers and all other project stake holders
Analyzing scope of work, project sequencing, resource planning, time estimation, scheduling, cost estimation, risk analysis are a set of responsibilities
Proficient in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong service oriented architecture and database concepts and designing techniques
Experience in working with international customers and technical teams to define, analyze, and, work through requirements definition, technical design, implementation, builds, and deployment
Experience in client relationship management, project co-ordination and delivery management in an onsite-offshore model
Drives code reviews and approves unit test plans and results. Drives detailed test planning for Integration and System testing.
Experience building Mobile Applications on the .NET platform will be a value addition
Assist in creating proposals, RFP, bidding, estimation etc.
Working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business
Attending meetings with business development/sales managers and acting as a technical expert
Should have experience in resource management, resource allocation & resource deployment, must be aware of various staffing models to deploy resources internally & at client side
Understand the complexities of and manage the flawless service delivery to major staffing programs and partnerships
Research and evaluate new software related technologies and products, Development of prototypes for new technology initiatives
Drives the .NET development capabilities of the organizations .NET developers and center of excellence. Facilitates knowledge-sharing and the development of a sense of community within the .NET technical delivery staff.
Drives the development of departmental technical standards, policies and procedures. Drives continuous improvement of the architecture, design and testing practices of the Project Delivery division. Advocates the use of best practices on projects, and coaches developers in their use.
Monitor industry trends related to .NET development and Microsoft development tools in general to keep abreast of new technologies and changes that may benefit Infinite clients and the Project Delivery division.
Excellent understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
Should have handled Agile based development in multi-shore model in the past
Perform scrum ceremonies like Sprint/Release planning, Daily Scrum, Retrospective etc.
Education:
BE/ MCA/ MS in Computer Science or related technology field
Any Relevant industry certification (PMP/ CSM/ Prince 2/ CAPM)
Experience:
14+ years of software development experience is required, including:

4+ years experience leading small to mid-sized .NET projects.
3 +years in Agile/Scrum
7+ years of hands-on experience Designing and building solutions in .NET 4.0 or higher technologies (C#, .NET Framework, MVC, ASP.NET), WCF, Web API, SQL Server 2012 or higher
Designing and building responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & Bootstrap. Strong knowledge of design principles OOD, Design Patterns, N-tier architecture, TDD
Strong experience using JavaScript frameworks like Angular and jQuery.
Solid understanding and Experience in MVC.
Solid Understanding and Experience in Azure Cloud Framework.
Unit testing preferably using MS Test. NUnit, Jasmine/Karma
Should have experience in technical architecture/solutions of the applications

Travel requirement:
Base Location : Mumbai
Occasional Travel to Infinites/Clients Global offices maybe required.
