Job Description
- Candidate will be responsible for creating and managing new and existing vendors portfolio. Candidate will be responsible for introduction of new vendors, vendor audits for technical/supply/commercial evaluation, coordination between sourcing and vendors for supply related issues etc. Candidate will be responsible for settling commercial terms and component costs with the vendors.
Required Candidate profile
The candidate should be from Mechanical background who has worked on Electrical products development. The candidate should have worked on entire product development cycle and should have the knowledge of product development process. The candidate should have hands on experience of Autocad. The person should be well averse with various production tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, JIT, PFMEA, PPAP, PFD, APQP, etc. The candidates must be aware of product and component level costing of various types of components and should be well averse of commercial terminologies. The candidate should be well aware of various manufacturing processes such as Sheet Metal, Plastic and Rubber Moulding, Die Casting, Extrusion etc. The candidate should be a smart worker and should have capabilities of carrying work with minimum inputs. The candidate is also expected to be a team player, hardworking, quick learner and should possess very good communication skills both verbal and written. The knowledge of various national and international Standards on materials and processes is must.
Salary: INR 3,00,000 - 6,00,000 PA.
