Roles and Responsibilities

Designation: QA Manager and QMS Management Representative

Position Reports to: Executive Director

Place of Posting: Udyog Vihar Phase 1, Gurgaon

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with Flexi Time in Hybrid Model



Brief Purpose of the Position:

Represent the QMS as Management Representative (MR) and responsible for the complete Process Automation. Drive various Quality accreditations and certifications for Skilrock Technologies – A leading Software Product and Services Company developing Enterprise level Large Platforms for Fintech and gaming with clientele across the globe.



Role & Responsibilities:


  • Work with Senior management and define Quality propositions and to ensure implementation of Quality policy, Quality objectives, metrics (KPIs) and QMS.
  • Set clear parameters to spread quality awareness as a Quality Champion.
  • Establish Audit processes and create roadmap for Quality initiatives including new process improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with management team to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Responsible for change management, continual improvement and supporting innovation solutions.
  • Drive processes and Quality improvements in line with company policies, procedures and initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining group wide certification and accreditations such as CMMI-3, ISO 14001 (Environment Management System), ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System), ISO 9001 (Quality Management System).
  • Maintain effective Liasioning with certifications and accreditation bodies. Ensuring the control and record of outsourcing activities, verification of purchased products etc.
  • Maintaining an integral approach covering quality of product, project, process, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, L&D, ISO, CMMI etc.
  • Report the Audit findings and ensure appropriate CAPA is planned & executed by respective process owners.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management comprising of Product Development, Engineering/ Technology, Business Development/ Sales, HR, Finance etc. aiming to resolve internal and external challenges.
  • Conduct quarterly process quality assessments and publish monthly process quality assessment scorecard for each process and recommend improvement areas.
  • Ensure Implementation of SLAs and SOPs for all divisions.
  • Contribute in strengthening relationships with clients to generate additional engagement opportunities through excellent Quality, timely execution and collaborative approach to client services.
  • To drive customer centric culture and customer friendly processes through effective implementation of various quality initiatives.
  • Responsible for measuring service Quality in the organization which includes customer satisfaction, compliance and process effectiveness, thereby achieve customer satisfaction (Internal / External).
  • Establish QMS to monitor compliance with ISO, CMMI and other certifications/ accreditations for implementing the Quality audit program thru which compliance with all procedures is reviewed at regular intervals.
  • Add value to stakeholders by successfully preparing them for internal control audits and supporting them through the audit process.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on nonconformities/ NCRs and enable them over-come NCRs by defining effective processes and control echanisms.
  • Execute a data-driven, statistical approach to problem solving, including gathering, analyzing and reporting data.
  • Overall responsibility of identifying and mitigating risk of non-compliance.
  • Periodically evaluate all business processes for risk/ gaps and determine scope and frequency of testing in these processes.
  • Responsible for preparing, updating and maintaining all QA and QA Audit related documents.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Education, Experience and Competencies:

  • BE/ B. Tech/ MCA with 10+ Year experience in managing QMS and/ or Software Engineering Lifecycle.
  • 3+ years leadership and management experience as an Internal Quality Auditor.
  • Excellent people and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to play QA and process champion role as QMS Management Representative (MR) and participate with stake holders in designing and planning process.
  • Hands-on with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum Model. Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred.
  • Hands on with software and management tools like JIRA, Asana, Jenkins, GITLab will be an added advantage.
  • Hands-on with quality management system like CMMI, ISO 27001, ISO9001 etc.
  • Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of Business Process of Managing tools and software.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to work with cross-functional as a team contributor.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices will be an advantage.
  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable.
