JOB Description:

Sopra Steria is recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Agent - Green Belt to join our growing continuous improvement team within our Government sector. We are an essential support service to the business providing insights into process optimisation and workforce efficiency. The Continuous Improvement Agent - Green Belt will have experience in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement projects and have a desire to learn more CI tools in support of the business strategy. In this role you will support in delivering business transformation, work with stakeholders at all levels and have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement projects to successful completion for process employees and clients. The Continuous Improvement Agent - Green Belt will be responsible for supporting end-to-end process reviews, presenting recommendations and defining work packages to transform business processes. You will deliver the LCS accredited CI training yellow belt programme and associated activities. You will be a practitioner and certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with previous experience of completing CI projects. You will have the opportunity to develop towards completing certification as a Black Belt.

  • Ability to recognise inefficiencies and remove process bottlenecks to help improve processes

Key Responsibilities /Accountability:

  • Manage key business improvement projects
  • Able to identify areas of weakness and report recommendations
  • Partner to Key Delivery teams with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Coaching Yellow to certification
  • Work closely with the wider CI Team to ensure shared best practices and attainment of business goals
  • Maintain and further develop an in-depth knowledge and expertise within this specialist area through networking and research in order contribute to the team’s success.
