Business Excellence - Asst Manager/ Deputy Manager

Job Description

PURPOSE OF JOB :

1) Works as SME (subject Matter Expert) for Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, DFSS. Strategize and drive various Business Excellence Initiatives in Manufacturing, R&D, New Product Development in terms of process improvements & innovation to create additional bottom-line impact
2) Debottlenecking and practical / Hands on experience in manufacturing set-up

KEY DELIVERABLES :

1) Identify opportunities for development and improvement in Process and Operations in line with company goals, strengths and limitations.
2) To identify cost reduction, capacity enhancement, process improvements & Innovation projects across the location for each of the plants.
3) Run capacity simulation, identify bottlenecks & exploit bottlenecks by using Lean, Six Sigma or TOC approach
4) Creating infrastructure for improvement projects
5) Reviewing & Mentoring Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt projects teams to successful completion of projects and ensuring desired savings and benefits to the Organization.
6) Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and Functional Heads to seek their support and involvement for timely completion of process improvement and cost reduction projects in each of the Business units.
7) Mentor new Product development programs at Jubilant using IFSS/DFSS

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES :

1) Knowledge of QbD, cGMP, Technology Transfer
2) Very Strong Knowledgeable & Hands-on experience on QbD, Design of Experiments(DoE) / DFSS / IFSS / Statistics
3) Hands-on experience in lean, six sigma, value stream mapping & theory of constraints
4) Simulation & Modeling
5) Trouble-shooting, improving efficiencies & product quality and reducing utility consumption norms
6) Process data analysis for improvements in design and optimization of operating conditions.
7) Scale up of designs, techno commercial feasibility studies; Simulation & Modeling
8) Experience in preparation of Basic Engineering Package

Qualification:
1) Master/Bachelors degree in Pharmacy
2) Strong Knowledge of Six Sigma, DFSS, IFSS.
3) Black Belt (Lean Six Sigma) certification is desirable.
4) PMP certification is preferred.
5) Knowledge of cGMP is preferred.

Required Candidate profile

-> Minimum experience desired is 5+ years in Pharma Industry
-> Hands-on experience in Six Sigma, DFSS, Lean, Mathematical Modeling
--> Strong Knowledge of MS-Excel, Capacity Simulation
--> Proven training abilities & excellent execution skills
--> Should have handled R&D, Manufacturing related improvement projects / programs
--> Must have worked in Pharma Plant Operations
