This role is primarily responsible ____

The candidate should have good accounting knowledge and good Communication. He will be responsible for day-to-day Accounting transactions and maintain the organizations financial records. The General Ledger Accountant will also be responsible for GL Account Reconciliation & Accounting every month.



Business Responsibilities:

  • Support Monthly and Annual Close Processes.
  • Consolidation of Books of accounts at holding level.
  • Quarterly balance sheet and P & L Fluctuation Analysis.
  • To Understand and record the Accruals/Prepaid transactions.
  • To Understand and record inter-company accounting.
  • Passing Journal entries in Oracle.
  • Monthly expense variance analysis.
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliations/schedules.

Knowledge & Skills/ Education & Experience:

  • B.Com, CA (Inter) 7-9 years of relevant Finance and/or Operational experience
  • Having the knowledge of Oracle will be preferred.
  • xStrong Excel and database skills.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting concepts like (Accrual, prepaid, inter-company, Bank reconciliation etc.)
  • Good with attention to detail and a work ethic based upon a strong desire to exceed expectations.

Sound knowledge of accounting concepts, Oracle, Advance Excel, & communication.

Working knowledge of passing entries in Oracle, Accrual concepts, Prepaid, intercompany & Consolidations of Financials
