Job description

• Independently lead supply chain performance improvement projects for global facilities by working with global cross-functional teams
• Use data to identify improvement opportunities in the areas of inventory right-sizing, product availability improvement and SOP process
• Communicate to senior leadership and stakeholders on the opportunities, solution and implementation plan
• In addition to technical skills, the 6 Sigma Black Belt needs to demonstrate fully skilled levels of leadership competencies.
• Although the requirements above describe most of the responsibilities, due to the breadth of issues that arise on projects, it is sometimes expected to take on other responsibilities outside of this job description.

Background/Experience (Required):

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Great team player and experience working with cross-functional teams
• APICS CPIM or CSCP National Certification highly desired
• Develop and deploy creative / original solutions to complex problems
• Solid product knowledge and good business understanding
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time throughout the year

Background/Experience (Desired):

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of supply chain or related experience.
• Experience in inventory management and control, purchasing, parts distribution and/or supply chain/logistics is highly desired.
• Experience in information technology, supply chain logistics, global purchasing, operations and / or project management is desired.
• Strong Analytics and Visualization tools Skills
• Experience in supply chain optimization modeling tools
• Post graduate degree in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering.
