Job Description:

Responsible for driving the continuous improvement initiatives/projects and people/knowledge development at MH North.

Purpose

Key Deliverables

- Lean implementation

- Model Hub development

- Setup and drive Lean Maturity Certification of Hub

- Horizontal Deployment of Lean practices

- Yellow Belt / Green Belt project mentoring

- Imparting Lean training programs across the assets

- Buddy-up with operations to develop Lean Champions

- Driving asset-specific improvement initiatives

    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required [Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred]
    • Fluent in Lean fundamentals: (e.g.) Lean Principles, Lean Tools, Kaizen and Hoshin-Kanri (Deployment Planning)
    • Fluent in Six Sigma Methodology
    • Green or Brown Field Startup experience a plus (must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, creating structure and working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
    • BS /BE/B-Tech degree or better (Engineering, applied Statistics, etc. preferred)
    • Esperance in shop floor operations
    • Understanding of Supply Chain
    • Ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form.
    • Motivation to up-skill in domain, concepts, principles, practices and techniques.
    • Demonstrated people leadership and management expertise.
    • Demonstrated success in change management.
    • Demonstrated coaching expertise.
    • Project Management expertise
