We have an opportunity for the position of Java Project Manager with Hexaware Technologies, Chennai.

Location: Siruseri, Chennai

Experience: 14+ years

Profile Summary:

  • 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE with 4+ years in Project Management for Application Development & Maintenance
  • Managed/Delivered atleast 1 or 2 End to End Development Projects in Java/J2EE
  • Exposure to Agile & Waterfall methodologies and working with tools like JIRA, Version One, Confluence
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exposure to onsite offshore model


Primary Responsibilities & Technical Skills:

  • Project Management for Java / J2EE Projects with understanding of frameworks like Spring, Hibernate etc., REST/Web services, Devops CI/CD pipeline, APIs
  • Provide Management & Technical Leadership to the team
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and co-ordinate with dependent teams
  • Deliver technology solutions and co-ordinate and track estimation, design and development tasks
  • Monitor and manage scope, milestones, effort, defects within agreed KPI and SLA
  • Work closely with onsite Team and clients to create & manage project/release plans
  • Define project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress
  • Align project objectives with company goals
  • Issue management and resolution
  • Manage risk tracking process
  • Manage all documentation
  • Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors
  • Only immediate Joiner (0-20 Days)


Preferred: 

  • Execution of Fixed Price Projects
  • Understanding of AWS
  • Certified in EM / PMP / CSM / ITIL
