Job Description
- As a Cloud Lab Services Program Manager you will
- Have an opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology products with large enterprises and PSUs in India.
- You would be responsible for delivering complex projects and be the face of IBM to the customer project teams while represent IBM in the CxO forums of customer organizations
- The role seeks crafting levels of personal organization, and the ability to work well with a distributed team in a dynamic and exciting environment.
- You will be required to communicate your status daily, come up with creative solutions to problems and be flexible supporting the team wherever required and to demonstrate a positive attitude and a passion to succeed.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure that global best practices as per standards like PMBOK are followed in the projects.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within budget. Changes are administered through CRs.
- Develop a detailed project plan, work with the customer to get approval, baseline and track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Report and raise to internal and customer management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and internal stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Craft and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Should be able to manage multiple customer engagements at the same time.
- Work with internal practice managers to get timely resource allocation, as per the project schedule and deliverables completed as per the project baseline.
- Ensure high customer happiness is ensured and reflected in the formal CSAT process / surveys.
- Ensure customer is made referenceable customer and formally close that in the IBM internal systems.

- 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent, including Agile certification and Agile knowledge. With a keen technical acumen to understand Hybrid Cloud Technologies and be able to articulative to stakeholders.
- Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
- Knowledge of PM techniques and tools
- Experience as a project manager leading critical customer engagements for last 8+ years
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management or change management
- Proficiency in project management software tools like MS Project / IPWC (IBM).
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Project management experience around Projects involving WebSphere products like IBM BPM, IIB, MQ, WAS, Tivoli ITSM Products, FileNet will be an added advantage.
- Proven interpersonal skills.
- 10+ years of in-depth and hands-on project / program management experience involving complex solution development in a multi vendor environment.

- Experience of working with CxOs and executive management in customer organisations

- Contract negotiation
- Conflict resolution experience
