Job Description

Recognizes and communicates safe work practices and establishes guidelines for health/safety, housekeeping, ergonomics and discipline.
Encourage LAs & Associates to identify and execute Kaizens and improvements.
Ensure effective implementation of all the quality standard requirements.

Builds and maintains good working relationships with employees, identify training needs & execute training for Group Leaders, Lead Associates & Associates.
Lead the team to ensure that the set quality goals are met in production process of Press shop. Ensure that standardized work has been developed & are followed.
To Ensure effective planning has been done to achieve targets of SPH and LTT
Support Group Leaders in effective problem solving to reduce rework and scrap.
Ensure effective countermeasures are implemented for Quality Control based on feedback from audit activities and customer feedback


BE with 5-10 Years Exp.
Should have worked in Auto OEMs & would be responsible for One Group.
Execute the scheduled plan. Support Lead Associates to resolve ANDON calls.
Experience of PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Kaizen (continuous improvement and problem solving) and error proofing techniques.
Coordinate with other departments in charges for technical problem-solving matters.
Sound Knowledge of Tandem & Continuous Press Line Production.
Co-ordinate & facilitate plant problem resolution activities
Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
Full understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work
