JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for quality management of raw material, packing material, Finished product and Re-sale products of Textile Auxiliary by smooth functioning of QC lab.

Responsible for Working Standard Establishment

Responsible for quality of products manufactured at toll vendors (working on pre-shipment samples)

Ensure quality at source help to develop vendors by proving them required support

Investigation of Customer Complaints with minimal response time and ensure complete resolution of the same

Support to production for process improvement, RCA for off spec batches and customer complaints

Implementation of 6S standard at the lab

Ensure service to the plant 24*7

Responsible for calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments

Responsible of SAP, LIMS activities of RM, PM & FG

Overall responsible for smooth functioning of Textile Auxiliary Lab with EHS compliance

Support to improvement projects decided by business

Develop team & enhance technical and soft skill of team members

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experiences:

B. Sc Chemistry with 10 year experience

OR

M. Sc in chemistry with 8 years

Experience in Textile Auxiliary Lab having experience on Quality testing of Raw materials, Chemicals, Packaging material using various techniques which includes Wet analysis, Gravimetric Analysis, Instrumental Analysis

Know-how/skills:

Preparation of Management Information Report

Working knowledge of SAP, LIMS Quality Module.

Experience of smooth functioning of lab by leading a team

Knowledge of Textile Auxiliary testing is must.

Advanced knowledge of HPLC, Viscometers, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Datacolor spectrophotomer.

Knowledge application of Lean six sigma concept or exposure to those methodologies.

Exposure to QMS 9001:2015.

Fluent in English.

Computer skill: Well versed with Microsoft Offices, Minitab and QC tools
