Job description

The purpose of the role is to work with our clients to understand their needs, offer advice, solve problems, manage change, and improve efficiency within information and data security.

Major Accountabilities

Build and maintain effective relationship with Business and Technology Stakeholders. Be the voice of information security in the division/business and the voice of the business within information security
Raise the profile of security within the organization by being pro-actively involved with stakeholders and customers
Own and communicate Information security roadmap aligned with risk appetite and overall security roadmap
Facilitate planning, introduction, delivery of information security services and initiatives
Facilitate in the maturity of information security for organization
Delivery of point services such as vulnerability assessments, project risk assessments, vendor assessments, etc
Facilitate security awareness and education
Contribute to development and implementation of security architecture and the design of security services and processes
Demonstrate to stakeholders that appropriate security controls are in place and own/create actions plans to manage improvement or change when necessary

Key Performance Indicators/Measures of Success

Experience managing multi-function relationships throughout major transformation
Understanding of security technology
Experience in a role balanced between business stakeholders and service organization
Navigating a multifaceted matrix organization
Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skillsets
Analytical: Inquisitive nature and intuition regarding what questions to ask, when and their relative significance
Ability to frame business threat and exposures in a business context recognized by non-technical staff and executives
Ability to build good relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations and the ability to influence stakeholdrs of all levels
Effective delivery of training curriculum management

Minimum qualifications and Experience
Education

Bachelor or Master s degree in IT or engineering a requirement
Certified in ISO27001

Language

Fluent in English
Nice to have: Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia

Work Experience

Experience delivering training to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience managing training on a Learning Management System

Soft Skills

Excellent people management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to facilitate a holistic perspective and understand business needs.
Motivated to continuously expand her/his knowledge of the life science industry.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work globally to coordinate the work of associates at all levels.
