Key Responsibility

- Deep understanding and hands on experience in implementing infrastructure components like Azure IaaS VM build automation.

- Deep understanding and knowledge of Microsoft products Active Directory, Windows, Azure Network Experience, setting up VPN and Express Route, SFTP servers, Azure DNS, Application Gateways, Traffic Managers, Set up Virtual Machines.

- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade Azure networks and servers.

- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.

- Good knowledge of security related to cloud-based infrastructure.

- Good knowledge of implementation of ISO 27001 requirements.

- Ensure network security with knowledge of HTTPS, TLS1.2 and TLS1.3 and connectivity like SFTP, HTTPS.

- Setting up SFTP servers using third party software like Filezilla for receiving customer data.

- Setting up encryption of VMs and data disks on Azure, create firewalls and enable transmission between server over HTTPS.

- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords, Deep knowledge of user maintenance in Azure AD.

- Proven experience in a network administrator role.

- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.

- Tagging and maintaining registers of physical and cloud assets.

- Implementation of IT policies on the assets.

- Configure, maintain, upgrade Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware applications on the assets.

- Good technical background in Cloud hosted services environment.

- Proven ability to work in a Cloud-based environment.

- Ability to manage and maintain Cloud Infrastructure on Azure (IaaS, PaaS). Strong knowledge on various app monitoring tools.

- Exposure to various Azure Services that are typically used in Software Development.

- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency) and test for weaknesses across various servers on Azure.

- Ability to set up and configure server hardware.

- Understanding in source Control Systems like TFS, GIT.

- Specify system requirements and design solutions.

- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.

- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.

- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.

- Understanding of Load Balancers experienced with Azure Automation, and Azure Resource.

- Manager Research and make recommendations on server system administration

- Coordinate design-related infrastructure and setup at different stages of the project.

- Represent Infrastructure topics as a technical consultant on projects.

- Prepare documentation relating to assets on cloud like infrastructure diagrams.

- Maintain project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications.

- Maintain working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.

- Keep up to date with latest technologies, trends and provide inputs / recommendations as required.

- Support and administer third-party applications.

- Resolve problems reported by internal user related to Hardware and Software.

- Support in defining network policies and procedures.

- Resolve issues that arise. Prepare necessary status reviews and reports.

Qualification:

- Proficient in Power Shell, Shell Scripting Languages.

- Must have sound knowledge of SDLC and be able to work in Agile methodologies.

- in-depth knowledge of Clustering, Load Balancing, High Availability and Disaster Recovery, Auto Scaling, etc.

- Experienced in windows and certified would be most preferred.

- Juniper, Cisco, CCNA, CWNA Certifications will be added Advantage.

- Education: BE (IT/ Comm/ E&TC/ Elec), BCS, MCS, MCA, BCA.

- Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking.

- Excellent communication in English is highly desirable.
