PPAP Training

PPAP Training is yet another service offering from AIG in the IATF Training programs.

PPAP or Production Part Approval Process is a defined method by AIAG and is renowned in the Automotive and Aerospace industry.

PPAP is a preferred method in the Automotive supply chain to induce confidence in customer about the processes deployed by the Supplier and his ability to consistently provide products that meet the laid down requirements of the customer.

While Customers can have their own specific requirements however AIAG developed a PPAP standard in-line with APQP.

The purpose of PPAP can be summed up as:

to ensure that a partner has the ability to meet the product quality requirement of the Customer.
to provide objective evidence that the supplier has understood the design requirements of the Customer
to provide evidence that supplier has the ability to meet the quality requirements of the customer and the production rate as quoted.
