Lean Training

Why Lean

  • Lean is the relentless pursuit of the perfect process through waste elimination and this is the main objective of our Lean training.
  • LEAN is “A systematic approach to identify and eliminate waste (non-value-added activities) through continuous improvement by flowing the product at the pull of the customer in pursuit of perfection”
  • “All we are doing is looking at a time line from the moment the customer gives us an order to the point when we collect the cash.  And we are reducing that time line by removing the non-value added wastes”  Taiichi Ohno (Founder, TPS).
  • “One of the noteworthy accomplishments in keeping the price of Ford products low is the gradual shortening of production cycle time. The longer an article is in the process of manufacture and the more it is moved about, the greater is its ultimate cost.” Henry Ford, 1926
  • A principle driven, tool based philosophy that focuses on eliminating waste so that all activities/steps add value from the customers perspective.
  • Business and other organizations use lean principles, practices, and tools to create precise customer value—goods and services with higher quality and fewer defects—with less human effort, less space, less capital, and less time than the traditional system of mass production
  • The maniacal pursuit of the elimination of waste from every business process with the ultimate goal of providing World-Class quality, delivery and service to our customers at the lowest  possible cost
  • Increase customer responsiveness by reducing cycle time
  • Deliver stronger value proposition to the customers with speed and quality
  • Create capacity by eliminating waste
