Job Description

Job purpose
Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) of a cast/ Grey iron Foundry are established, implemented and maintained.
Key tasks/ Responsibilities
To Conduct periodic audits of projects and functions and ensuring timely closure of NCs issued during internal & external audits.

Monitor and report the non compliance related data on periodic basis and ensure the completion of corrective & preventive actions.

Focal person for all QMS operations like arranging / conducting audits , process improvements , tracking functional objectives etc.

Conduct QMS training programs to staff as per training calendar (QMS education, awareness & culture building).

Contribute in continual improvement initiatives and projects
Ensure that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the QMS.

Ensure that an internal audit programme is adopted to verify that the QMS conforms to planned arrangements and is effectively implemented and maintained.

Analyze data on the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made.
Co-ordinate continual improvements of the QMS, ensuring that evidence of corrective and preventive actions taken are recorded and reviewed.
Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process.

Education:
Candidate should be Minimum B.E. with at least 60% marks from a reputed college.
UG: B.Tech/B.E. – Any Specialization.
PG:M.Tech – Any Specialization.
Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required.
