Job description:

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To provide strategic leadership and direction to Logistics and Supply Chain group. The incumbent of this role will work closely with Sales Service team for achieving Company s overall objective of revenue growth, service deliverables and establish better control over logistics service provider on service level, cost effectiveness and Inventory Management.

 

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Direct effectively manage supply chain team comprising Field Logistics, Planning and Import.

Responsibility for Total Supply Chain Cost Inventory and Supply Chain Service Level

Provide support to Sales Service community on pre-sales and post-sales activity

Ensure timely delivery of Spares / Consumables to customers dealers

Ensure that the stocks are properly handled and maintained by service provider without any stock variances

Ensure proper negotiations and finalization for non-contractual activities to be done thru Service provider

Review monitor the service providers monthly performance in line with the business requirements put corrective actions in place for gaps

Operate as a single point interface with control, sales service teams and ensure their requirements are captured, processed and implemented effectively at all locations

Review monitor service level parameters ensure the performance levels are maintained in line with requirement.

Improve customer satisfaction by closely monitoring the parts consumable availability lead-time of various deliverables.

Develop channels of distribution to ensure minimum cycle time and cost

Ensure that the warehousing distribution cost is within the target corresponding to overall revenue of the company

Develop appropriate processes and ensure their implementation in order to achieve above targets

Support and drive SC productivity projects in support of business needs and developments

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Role holder would be responsible to lead and manage a team of logistics supply chain personnel who are responsible to deliver following:

Order fulfillment

Customs Clearance

SC KPI s including monitoring and reporting

Inventory levels and aging control

Spares delivery to engineer / customer within 1 hour

Toner delivery to customers as per AM / PM module

Customer Satisfaction Process Improvements Satisfaction Surveys

Spares Consumable billing delivery to Distributors ASPs

Invoicing timeliness and accuracy

Cyclic Counts Stock variance control

Cost control

Coordination with Service provider and Sales, Service Control team

Bill verification processing for timely release Payment

Stock Reconciliation

Review monitoring of SLA agreed with Service provider

MIS Reporting as per schedule

Insurance Management

Planning- Equipment and Non equipment
