Job description

1. Purpose of Position

Drive Supply Chain Excellence, Process Re-engineering, Optimization, Data Analytics for the Global TE division.

2. Scope of Position

Accountability: Global Supply Chain

No. of direct reports: 0

3. Principal Accountabilities

Contribute to implementation of overall Global Supply Chain Strategic objectives and attainment of Strategic Roadmap
Define/review overall global SC Lean / Excellence strategy
Engage SC Functional Networks as well as overall Textile Effects Organization in recognizing the importance of SC Excellence
Lead the implementation of LEAN, supported by the Operations Excellence Black Belts
Identify projects and lead the efforts/initiatives to Optimize Business Processes
Lead analytical projects including process re-engineering, digitalization and tools implementation
Influence organizational stakeholders to champion process improvements & establish ownership of action plans at the appropriate point within Supply Chain.
Ensure all Supply Chain Improvement efforts/projects are captured and translated to visible financial impact
Build strong interfaces by integrating into the global and regional business, serving as a key team player.

In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

4. Significant Working Relationships

Internal: This position reports into the Director Global Supply Chain Integrated Planning and works with relevant Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business (Global Marketing Managers / Global Product Managers) and Performance team counterparts globally

5. Background Knowledge Required for Position

Education/Experience:

Master degree with specialization Operations or Supply Chain Management. Chemicals background a plus.
Minimum of 8 years Supply Chain working experience in an MNC, working with virtual teams across multiple cultures and countries. Global exposure experience preferred.
Extensive Project Management experience
Experience in Process Re-design and Re-engineering
APICS CPIM or CSCP certified as an added advantage
SAP working knowledge
