The AEC™ certification is a globally recognized credential from SCRUMstudy that validates a professional’s deep understanding of Agile concepts, frameworks, and practices across multiple methodologies.
This certification is ideal for professionals involved in Agile project delivery, including Project Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and those interested in learning how to select and apply Agile methods in various scenarios.
No formal prerequisites are required. However, prior certification like SDC™ or SMC™ can be beneficial. Attending a 3-day training program with a SCRUMstudy R.E.P. is also recommended.
The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, has a 120-minute duration, and is conducted as an online proctored exam. The current pass rate is approximately 96%, making it challenging but achievable with proper preparation.
To maintain your certification status, you must earn 40 Recertification Units (RCUs) every 2 years. These can be earned through continued learning, project work, or Agile-related professional development.
