Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification Training at AIG shall involve a detailed understanding of the different concepts and tools used in the subject along with extensive hands-on practice on data analysis and usage of these tools in project work and outside. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification training in AIG is the only program offered in the industry where lean six sigma projects are an inherent part of the learning process as also the certificate issuance process.
Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification training is a practitioner subject and we are of the view that this subject can't be a rote whiteboard based education. Six Sigma Blackbelt Certification training must include the intense practice of the concepts and tools and specifically Minitab. Six Sigma Blackbelt professional must have a good understanding of Minitab and should be competent in handling data analysis and should understand the six sigma project lifecycle in great detail.
During the Six Sigma Blackbelt training at AIG, you will be provided with access to Excel files containing data for the metric from your industry. During your training duration, you shall be required to use this data to practice the different concepts, change mgmt tools, data analysis to simulate the project etc. Moreover, during your Six Sigma Blackbelt training, the participant is required to give several practice exams to judge his competence and help him fill gaps if any.
We mandate that the participant does not move to the next phase of DMAIC training unless he has been successful in completing the project for the previous DMAIC phase and that the same has been duly approved by the AIG faculty. Additionally, the practice exam for the DMAIC phase must also be taken up and doubts clarified.
The certification of the Six Sigma Blackbelt at AIG requires two things :
1) Successful completion and approval of 2 Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt projects
2) Completion of the online final exam with greater than 60% marks.

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification has two mandates:
1: Submission of 2 BB projects duly approved by AIG Faculty.
2: Completion of the online final exam with greater than 60% marks
Upon completion of the above mandates, you shall be awarded certification.
You have to mandatorily complete the program in 6 months, failing which a rejoining fee is leviable.
If you are not interested in doing the project, the same shall have to be communicated to the AIG team and post clearing the online final exam you shall be awarded “Black Belt Trained Certificate”
You can re-appear in the final exam without any additional fee as many times as required. Just that the pass mark for the exam shall increase by a 10% with every failed attempt. Can I take online classes for Black Belt as I am not based out of cities you operate from? Yes, you may. We can work at arranging the MBB Sessions with the faculty over Skype or other modes. We have high number of participants in several programs who attend our classes in the online mode.
